Another semester is over and I could not be more thrilled! This semester was hard, probably the hardest thus far. Physiology has been the most difficult class. I thought chemistry last semester was difficult, but it was nothing compared Physiology.Organic/Biological Chemistry was pretty easy, which was nice. English was easy, but I had a great teacher! Nutrition 31 was easy, but helped me prepare for my remaining semesters at SJSU.
I am looking forward to this summer where I will work, hang with my niece and nephew and spend some time in the sun.
Then next semester I somehow got myself involved and am going to be the treasurer of the Nutrition Club. Don't ask me why I did this. I have no idea! But it will be fun and will look good on my resume.
Until next time...

Back to school again...
WOW! Another semester flew by! Last semester, I received an A in women's studies and a B in Environmental Studies. Since neither of those topics are my major, I am pretty pleased with the outcome and those grades.
This semester, which begins January 26, I am able to go full time due to being laid off from my job. Hopefully this will allow me to graduate sooner. I am also thinking that I am going to take one or two summer classes. We shall see. But this Spring 2011 semester is not going to be easy. I will be working part time, which will help with the financial situation.
I will try and keep this updated more often. I felt as though I had zero time last semester. With 2 jobs and 2 classes I was jam packed. But hopefully with 2 part time jobs and 4 classes, I can get everything done!
Hope everyone had a great holiday!
Until next time...

Next week!
School starts next week and I am ready! I feel like this summer has lasted forever. It's amazing to think that in elementary to high school we never want the summer to end. We start getting anxious in August and whining that we don't want to go back to school. But now in college, I am excited to go back. Not sure if it is because I am studying a topic that I am very interested in or because I am paying for it. Probably both is what I am thinking. But with summer break coming to an end and school starting up, I feel like a teenager again and am excited for the new semester to begin.
I have one class at school and one class online, which I feel works wonderfully. But I think that I am running out of night and online classes and am going to have to work something out in the next couple semesters. But I am ready for anything!
Until next time...

A Relaxing Summer...
Not since high school have I enjoyed summer as much as I am enjoying this summer. Yes I am still working, but being able to get back into the gym has been a wonderful thing. I have also started running at Stanford. We all know I am not a big runner, but I am feeling good. I am taking it slowly. Hitting the weights is feeling great too! The beach has been beautiful and the sun is feeling great!
However, school is right around the corner. I am registered for two classes, Women's Studies and Environmental Global Distribution. These classes will complete my upper division classes. Then it is all about the Nutrition. I am a little concerned because it is getting more difficult to find night and online classes. I am not sure how I am going to handle that. But I shall deal with that next semester.
There are still a few weeks before school starts though, and I am going to enjoy every minute it. Definitely need more beach time. I am still not quite brown enough!
Until next time...

Another End...
Welcome back! Yes it has been a while. It has been a busy semester. There were many papers, a few midterms, and I had to read a novel. I do recommend the novel. It is called "The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down" by Anne Fadiman. It is a true story and the family is from Merced.
My finals are next week. That means this weekend will include lots and lots of studying. So please wish me luck. Things, and I mean grades, are looking good so far though, which is a very good thing.
I can register for Fall 2010 in June. I am taking the summer off of school. I definitely need a break. I am feeling very drained. I am looking into a surf class though, if anyone knows of a good one.
I am still working on my new blog and will let you know the name once I have it. That is the only issue holding it up. I have the first 2 posts already written.
For those of you who are wondering, I am going to be in school for a couple of years. When I am done with classes, I am then going to need to fulfill a year internship. Just letting you know that it is going to be a little while until I am walking down in my gown to get my diploma.
Once my finals are complete, another post shall come. Until next time...

New Blog coming soon...
Just a quick note, I am in the process of working on a new blog in addition to this blog. Don't worry I am going to continue to keep this one going. But please become a follower of the new one once it is up and running.
On the school front, I am busily working on my oral presentation and paper that is due next week, Wednesday to be exact. It is on Native American Culture. I did OK on my midterm last week and will find out Monday my grade for my other midterm.
It feels like this semester is flying by already.
Until next time...
